FAQ &
Terms of Service

Shipping

Once I receive confirmation of an order being placed I will sent it as soon as possible. I aim to ship work within a couple of days, however sometimes there may be a slight delay if I am working towards a deadline or working outside the studio. Due to the method used to calculate shipping, orders of multiple items may incur higher shipping rates; in this case I will refund a suitable percentage of the shipping cost to the customer when the shipment cost is confirmed.

Shipping to the UK

Shipments to the UK will be sent with Royal Mail Tracked 48 hour delivery. Notifications will be available to the recipient providing sufficient details are given at checkout. The items purchased will be securely packed in recyclable materials. If multiple items are purchased I will package the pieces in the most suitable format to reduce cost, in this case the customer may be eligible for a partial refund on the shipping cost. Please email me once the order has been placed to discuss shipping of multiple items.

Shipping to the USA & Canada

Shipments to the USA and Canada will be sent via whichever provider I deem best for each particular order. Tracking details should be available to the recipient providing sufficient details are given at checkout, although not every delivery service offers this. The items purchased will be securely packed in recyclable materials. If multiple items are purchased I will package the pieces in the most suitable format to reduce cost, in this case the customer may be eligible for a partial refund on the shipping cost. Please email me once the order has been placed to discuss shipping of multiple items.

I take no responsibility for any import costs for items sent internationally. If a parcel is held by customs in the receiving country the responsibility for the parcel is with the customer.

Returns

I am unable to offer returns on any used items.

Every care has been taken to accurately represent each piece with the imagery provided on each product page. My tableware is entirely handmade therefore there may be the occasional pinhole in a glaze, a slight bleeding of colour from one glaze to another, or an iron fleck visible in a white glaze. If the piece has made it to my online shop that is because I have deemed it to be of high quality. I am very selective and take every care to make work of the highest standard.

If however you are unhappy with your purchase on arrival please do get in contact with me. I will do my best to rectify the situation. The customer will be liable for any shipping costs incurred for the return of an item. Any returned items must be securely packaged in the original packaging. Refunds will be granted for returned items upon inspection.

Caring for your new pots

My work is made from a stoneware clay and is fired to over 1260°C.

I would recommend hand washing all of my work carefully with hot soapy water. My glazes are very stain resistant. Tea stains are easily

removed with a scourer and dish soap (and a bit of elbow grease). The work can go in the dishwasher but I would strongly advise against it. The stoneware I use, although it is strong, is likely to crack or chip if it collides with an industrially produced ceramic wares. So it is the loading and unloading of the dishwasher that proves to be problematic.
